With Paddington playing host to a smattering of new venues in 2022, including a Sicilian-inspired trattoria, and Civico 47 – the restaurant newcomer filling impossibly large boots at the ex-Lucio’s site, our favourite leafy suburb is having something of a spring revival.
Following a wildly successful inaugural event in 2021, A Paddo Night Out will return bigger and better this Thursday 27th October showcasing unique specials, sales, menus, offers and activations across over 100 venues, with shoppers and diners invited to the area to enjoy a feast of hospitality and retail in one of Sydney’s most popular suburbs.
Between 4-8pm the streets will come to life with venues like Tequila Mockingbird shaking up their usual service with the addition of a street taco stand. Signature Porchetta Tacos will be slow-roasted curbside on the parilla served alongside $15 Classic or signature spicy Margaritas, available to enjoy on the street or to-go as you explore what else is on offer.
If you haven’t already checked out the Pool Bar at Oxford House, A Paddo Night out offers the prime opportunity while enjoying $12 Warm Mini Bay lobster rolls, Sunset Spritzes and Tommy’s Margaritas on the tranquil terrace.
While you’re on Oxford Street, peruse the rails at Volange Paris, and enjoy a glass of Champagne on arrival, or head to Defiance Gallery where they’ll be serving up a different kind of buzz as they announce the winner of the $30,000 Paddington Art Prize.
Take a little time for wellness at Halsa Health where tea tasting and meditation advice are on the agenda, plus make the most of complimentary facial oils and a raffle for a five-element facial, light therapy and a massage valued at $500 at Kaizen Mind & Body.
