The team from the world’s biggest jumping castle is hosting a new series of drive-in party events across Australia.

There’s been no shortage of creative solutions in the wake of this pandemic. From fine dining restaurants pivoting to takeaway to a string of drive-in cinemas, online film festivals, drive-in food truck festivals and more. And with restrictions continuing to ease, we’re excited to see more events and festivals slowly begin to return, albeit in a new form.

That’s were this new drive-in festival comes in. The crew from the oh-so-popular The Biggest Bounce (a kidult event boasting the world’s largest jumping castle) is taking to the retro practice of drive-in events to a whole new level.

The Parking Lot Social is a new nationwide touring experience set to bring back in-person events, while still practicing social distancing. These bespoke parking lot-based events invite attendees to party from their car with live bands, silent discos and more (all designed to be enjoyed from the comfort of your own vehicle).

Each event will host up 250 carloads of people, enabling guests to practice social distancing and experience 3 hours of entertainment with those closest friends. The Parking Lot Social’s national tour kicks off in Sydney from July 9th followed by Melbourne on July 23rd before heading to Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide.

Throughout the event, punters will be treated live music acts, a massive silent disco experience and even a huge car-a-oke session so you can sing your heart out from your car. Plus they’ll be a bunch of interactive games such as bingo, themed trivia, stand-up comedy, movie screenings and even a selection of local food truck vendors that can deliver eats and drinks directly to your car.

Ready to party? The Parking Lot Social will be taking place in Sydney from July 9th to 19th and Melbourne from July 23rd to August 2nd. To access tickets and learn more, sign up to the event’s mailing list here.
