Celebrate the reopening of Enmore’s The Warren View hotel with Grifter brews on the house.

Grabbing rounds of beers at the pub on a Friday afternoon is a popular pastime for Sydneysiders. And if you play your card right, you might even manage to get by without having to throw your card down. But if you’re looking to ensure you won’t have to pay a cent for beers this week, we’ve found just the event for you.

Nestled in the heart of Enmore you’ll find The Warren View hotel (or “The Wazza” as the locals call it). This century-old pub has been an Inner West favourite for over 149 years, serving 100% independently brewed tap beers in support of local brewers. This watering hole is known as a destination of fun, complete with beloved Drag Trivia nights and even a dog-friendly beer garden.

This month, The Wazza is celebrating the re-opening of its famous beer garden and bistro with a one-off event this Friday. In partnership with local Marrickville brewers Grifter, the venue will be serving up 3 hours of locally-brewed tap beer from the team at Grifter on Friday, November 15th. From 3pm, expect the venue to come alive with flowing local brews, live tunes and delicious food.

And this new look venue is one to celebrate, The heritage building has left its original 1870s exterior intact, while the interiors of the space have been completely reimagined by Sydney design firm Warrane (responsible for the design of other notable Sydney venues including the Coogee Bay Hotel The Nelson and The Tilbury). Expect the same old pub feel with the addition of modern finishes across the entire indoor bistro and leafy beer garden.
