Head Chef Leo Legname has been crafting his new hot sauce for months perfecting his secret recipe. A true alchemist in the kitchen, he has combined the required ratios of spice, sweetness and tang to create Mejico’s tastiest hot sauce that is yet to be named. Mejico is challenging the public to think of the perfect hot sauce name with the chance to have it labelled on hundreds of hot sauce bottles standing tall on the shelves at Mejico Sydney and Melbourne.
There’s a growing list of hilariously accurate hot sauce names worldwide including Red Hot, Satan’s Blood and F*ck Me That’s Hot Sauce. Chef Leo is seeking a name that represents his delicious concoction and the unique experience it triggers when it hits your lips. Get your creative juices flowing! Mejico’s renowned margaritas can certainly aid this process.
The winner will be rewarded with 52 mouthwatering servings of tacos over the next year. Mejico is famed for its truly authentic taco selection showcasing the bold flavours you’d typically find on the bustling streets of Mexico City. From lip-smacking beef brisket with house chipotle sauce to spicy prawn with Arbol chilli mayo and succulent chicken with corn salsa and chamoy sauce, you’ve got quite the choice if you take out the hot sauce title!
Visit Mejico in the heart of the Sydney CBD over the next month to enter the competition. Diners will be able to sample the brand new hot sauce and scan the QR code on the bottles to unleash a form and submit the name.
