The Golden Sheaf is hosting a fun single’s social club for Sydneysiders this Valentine’s Day.
Suffering from Zoom fatigue? Let’s face it, dating during lockdown is a whole new beast. And for all of our single Sydneysiders, the idea of getting out to the bar for a first date might be a tad daunting.
But if you’re feeling a tad rusty on approaching someone for a Valentine’s Day date, we’ve found the perfect solution for you.
Get ready for the Golden Sheaf’s Valentine’s Day Sunday Social Club, the best way to ease you and your fellow single pals back into getting social IRL again.
Here’s how this FREE event works: the Golden Sheaf will have tables set up in their beer garden, kitted out phones pre-programmed with all the table numbers in the venue. That means you and your besties can have some cheeky fun and chat with other singles you spot nearby.
If the chat goes well, why not seal the deal by ordering a drink to their table via the handy contactless me&u app (where you can order and pay for drinks on your phone using a handy QR code). The phones will be running all day and afternoon, with Shantan Wantan Ichiban hitting the decks from 12 pm – 5 pm and local DJs into the evening to set the vibe for a fun Valentine’s Day.
Plus, order yourself a Canadian Club and Dry drink special while you’re trying to decide who to call up next. These specials will be featured on the Sheaf’s new summer menu, with a bunch of delicious dishes designed to be shared or grazed on among mates.
Grab your single mates and head to the Golden Sheaf on February 14th for their Sunday Social Club. The event will be running all day, with DJs playing from 12 pm to 5 pm. While entry is free, bookings are recommended. Secure your spot here.
