Oh burgers, glorious burgers! An expo dedicated entirely to this ultimate comfort food is coming to Sydney.
This Sunday 11th August, the Market Canopy at Sydney’s Entertainment Quarter is set to transform into a burger lovers oasis, with the launch of The Burger Expo.
Hosted by The Burger Collective, a nation-wide app that you can use to find the best burgers in town, the event promises the ultimate showcase of Australia’s best burger restaurants, all under the one roof.
World famous chef and founder of Eggslut, Alvin Cailan, is coming down under from the United States to host the event. Not only is this your chance to catch a glimpse of the chef himself, but he’ll also be creating one of his signature burgers for the event which will be available for one day only.
As for the all important burger providores, you can expect the likes of Loaded by BL, Happy Ending burgers, Burger Point and Burger head.
Rounding off the list is also Mondaze from Brisbane and Monroe’s Burgers and Beers from Melbourne. You can also catch artisanal gelato institution Cremeria de Luca serving their famous gelato burgers.
While burgers will certainly take pride of place, the Burger Expo also promises various areas for event goers to enjoy. Think a lawn bowls area, an interactive gaming zone, burger games and masterclasses.
The Burger Expo has two sessions: 12pm–4pm and 5–9pm.
Tickets are $12pp and can be secured here.
