Good Food Month – All Of January

If you call yourself a foodie and love a fine dining experience, you’re going to want to check out what events are happening at this year’s Good Food Month. Renowned for highlighting Australia’s best chefs and seasonal produce over a series of unique dining experiences in the city, this year’s line-up is as impressive as the last. On the 13th of January, Michelin-trained chef Alessandro Pavoni will join forces with Melbourne’s Guy Grossi, Pilu at Freshwater’s Giovanni Pilu and Jacqui Challinor of NOMAD, to take diners on a tasting exploration of Italy’s coastline at That’s a’Mare: Food of the Italian Coast. Westpac OpenAir Cinema – From 6th January

Taking up residence at the stunning Mrs. Macquaries Point, adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden, Westpac OpenAir Cinema is set to host 48 nights of top-notch entertainment with a side of sparkling water views. With loads of wonderful films set for release (think No Time To Die, House of Gucci, The Matrix Resurrections, Dune & The French Dispatch… just for starters), the giant screen on the harbour will be full of magnificent stories. To kick off the festive season, White Claws have curated an epic summer music lineup at some of our favourite coastal venues. Manly Wharf Bar will see Chase Zera (DJ) on the 16th, Barley Passable on the 23rd and POOLCLVB (DJ) on the 30th. Looking for a dose of nostalgia? Head to nel. Restaurants 11-course ‘Once Upon a Time’ degustation inspired by childhood Disney movies. For the 3rd edition, Nelly will be plating up dishes inspired by Winne The Pooh, 101 Dalmations, Pirates Of The Caribbean, Aladdin and more. A highlight from the menu is the incredible Boo’s Best Friend – white chocolate and mint parfait resembling Mike Wazowski’s eye topped with James P. Sullivan coloured fairy floss. Social Serve – 22nd January

Not heading down to watch the Australian Open this year? For those of us wanting to celebrate this iconic tennis event (without leaving Sydney), we’ve found a fun and interactive party to join. Get ready for the Social Serve Australian Open Party, coming to Rose Bay’s Lyne Park Tennis Centre on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022. From 3:30 pm to 9:30 pm this tennis centre will come alive with killer cocktails, wicked DJ beats, party vibes, and a giant serving of social tennis.
