Westpac OpenAir Cinema Returns For An Extended Season This Summer

Eat, Film & Art, Play / November 3, 2021

The world’s most beautiful cinema will be returning to Sydney Harbour for a massive 48 night season!

When booking a trip to the cinema we rarely think about the venue itself. But, when it comes to this epic outdoor cinema, the views are well and truly the best part of the show. Taking up residence at the stunning Mrs Macquaries Point, adjacent to the Royal Botanic Garden, Westpac OpenAir Cinema is set to host 48 nights of top-notch entertainment with a side of sparkling water views.

With loads of wonderful films set for release (think No Time To Die, House of Gucci, The Matrix Resurrections, Dune & The French Dispatch… just for starters), the giant screen on the harbour will be full of magnificent stories. Add to this, delicious meals by Kitchen by Mike and tunes from some of Sydney’s leading DJs, it will be the perfect sunset vibe on Sydney Harbour!

The last season of Westpac Openair attracted thousands of punters from across the city and it’s set to be another popular season for this iconic alfresco event. As with all events at the moment, Westpac OpenAir cinema will be running at a slightly reduced capacity, explaining why they’ve opted for the extended season length this time around.

While the details of the film program and top-notch food and drink offerings are yet to be announced, we’ll share those details as soon as they come to hand. But first, be sure to mark these details in your diary:
