As September arrives and the weather warms up, Sydney comes alive with various events and offers, from street festivals and towering martinis to complimentary snacks. Check out our guide to what’s on this month, and let the socialising begin.

Bubbles & Brunch: Franca’s NEW Clicquot Brunch Perfects Spring Dining

Step into spring at Franca’s brand-new Veuve Clicquot Spring Brunch, launched on Saturday, 21st September. This indulgent dining experience is set to redefine weekend brunches blending luxury and seasonal flavours. Enjoy the finest starters like caviar and hashbrowns, paired with bottomless sparkling drinks for the perfect touch of elegance.

Guests can choose between two curated brunch menus, with a $60 or $120 option to suit any occasion. Elevate your meal with a bottomless drinks package, featuring Veuve Clicquot or Chandon Blanc De Blanc, adding that extra sparkle to your spring. Perfect for a leisurely Saturday, Franca’s brunch is the ultimate foodie experience this season.

Offer: Two set menus, $60 or $120. Two drinks package options, $65 including Chandon Blanc De Blanc and $95 including Veuve Clicquot.

Barangaroo House Of Martinis – Every Friday

Martini lovers are in for a treat this spring with the launch of Barangaroo House of Martinis. A month-long celebration in collaboration with Grey Goose vodka.  You can enjoy a selection of martinis across all three levels of the House. Mini martini menus are tailored to each level and available daily for $10. Expect pornstar martinis made tableside by expert bartenders on a New York-style rooftop or head downstairs to Rekodo Restaurant and Vinyl Bar on level 1, and try the Grey Goose martini cart. At House Bar on the ground floor, classic martinis and the floral Coral Martini (Grey Goose vodka, strawberry vermouth, house-made rose cordial, raspberry) are poured into a martini glass through an incredible ice luge.

Offer: $10 martinis and more available every Friday during September from 4-8 pm.

Le Marché – French Markets At The Entertainment Quater – 1st September

Fancy spending your Sunday walking through more than 45 market stalls of French delights? From fresh croissants, choux buns and Champagne to colourful berets and escargot. Pop over to Le Marché, French Markets at the Entertainment Quarter on the first Sunday of every month.  Start your morning in Le Marché’s culinary corner, which channels the vibes of a mini French supermarket. Fill your baskets with farm-fresh eggs, truffles, baked treats, duck confit and, of course, all the French cheeses your heart desires. Find out more here.

A Nikkei Whisky Affair – 4th September

Callao Restaurant, in collaboration with James Buntin, National Ambassador for House of Suntory, is hosting a unique one-night-only tasting event designed to captivate your senses. The evening begins at 6:30 pm with a refreshing whisky highball cocktail, followed by a specially curated 5-course Nikkei dinner, where each course is thoughtfully matched with five authentic Japanese whiskeys. Pork Schnittys At 30 Venues With Laundy Hotels – All September

Laundy Hotels have teamed up with Australian Pork to serve a series of OG Pork Schnitty specials in 30 of their Sydney venues throughout September. Group Executive Chef Jamie Gannon has created four variations of the classic pork schnitty – including duck egg and pancetta; fennel slaw and pesto and pork schnitty with a classic chips and salad combo. This deal launches Sunday 1st September, just in time to celebrate Father’s Day. Prices range from $27 for a pork schnitzel with chips & salad at the Red Lion Hotel or the Log Cabin in Penrith. Woolly Bay Hotel and the Crossways Hotel will be serving a pork schnitzel with duck egg & pancetta for $34. Full list of venues here.

Sydney Fringe Festival Experience At The Streets Of Barangaroo 

The Streets of Barangaroo is set to become a carnival of colour and culture throughout September. Barangaroo will come alive with a series of collaborative events, performances and retailer activations centred around the concept of ritual. Splashes of pink will take over the Streets, with retailers joining in the celebrations, offering pink-themed drinks, dishes, and other unique offerings throughout September. Several retailers are also participating in the festival’s fringe deals campaign “SHOW US YOUR TIX” where festival goers present a valid Sydney Fringe Festival ticket at any participating retailer to receive a discount. 27 Club At Sydney Fringe Festival

If you’re a music lover, this one is for you. Chef’s Table Experience At Shellhouse – From 5th September

Culinary director Joel Bickford and head chef Brad Guest of Shellhouse Restaurant have created a unique Chef’s Table experience available for just two guests each night. Seated at the kitchen pass, you will be immersed in the action of the open kitchen and guided through a personalised 5-course menu for $165 pp. Food & beverage director Alex Kirkwood has worked closely with their head sommelier to deliver a paired beverage selection for an additional $75 pp. Bookings are limited and can be made here.

Sydney Everest Carnival Long Lunch – 5th September

Celebrate the arrival of Spring with the Sydney Everest Carnival long lunch at the Australian Turf Club. Enjoy a long lunch hosted by Channel 7’s Natalie Barr and Matt Shirvington, alongside SpinalCure Ambassador Kerrie-Anne Kennerly. The lunch will feature a premium dining experience and a 30-minute performance by Australian artist Ricki-Lee. The Long Lunch will raise money for their charity partner, SpinalCure Australia. German Butchery is kicking off Oktoberfest festivities by giving away 100 FREE Brezels and Weisswurst sausages every Saturday in September. The offer starts on September 7th at their Bexley North location.
