Opera Bar gets set to transform into a rosé wonderland with the 2018 return of the Rosé All Day Festival.
Spring has sprung which means the return of breezy attire and sun-drenched day sessions. Accomodating just that is Sydney’s iconic Opera Bar, which will transform into a rosé heaven, with the return of the Rosé All Day Festival. Kicking off on the October Labour Day long weekend, the four day festival dedicated to everyone’s favourite pink drink will run from 11:30am every day from Friday through to Monday.
Showcasing a selection of wines including Yangarra Rosé (McLaren Vale, SA), AIX Rosé (Provence, France), Black Cottage Rosé (Marlborough, NZ), NV Chandon Rosé Brut (Yarra Valley, VIC) and Opera Bar’s signature Rosé (Orange, NSW), taste your way through this prized pink wine in its many forms. Think still, sparkling, spritzes and summer’s hottest drink, frozé. You can also be the first in Australia to taste the new NV Moët Ice Imperial Rosé which will be available for purchase on the day or for sampling from the Moët Ice Imperial Tuk Tuk.
For just $35 pp, your ticket grants you three specialty tipples on the day, including one glass of rosé (still or sparkling), one frozé made using grenache rosé, citrus, strawberry and mint plus an oh-so-refreshing rosé spritz.
In keeping with the theme, be sure to don a splash of pink on the day, with prizes awarded to the best dressed. If you miss the dress-code memo, there will also roaming staff handing out glitter and flower crowns across the four day event.
With an all-pink drinks list also comes a rosé-inspired food menu. Taste your way through a selection of Australian cheeses accompanied by rosé quince paste and Sydney rock oysters served with a rosé vinaigrette. To keep you jiving throughout the day, expect plenty of live music playing throughout the venue, pink decorations adorning Opera Bar adding the final touch to the waterside venue.
