With a shared passion for health and an appreciation for delicious food, this is a collaboration not to be missed.
In the heart of the lively Kensington Street precinct in Chippendale is an inner-city oasis, and one of Sydney’s most Instagrammable cafés, Concrete Jungle. If you’re a lover of all things peanut butter, there couldn’t be a more perfect time to visit this vibrant Sydney café than right now.
Head Chef Bryan O’Callaghan and his team have paired up with the crew behind the ‘really good peanut butter’ that is Pic’s, to craft an unmissable pop-up menu. As expected from the Concrete Jungle kitchen, the dishes are simply stunning and works of art in their own right. You’ll find a Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl ($19), the Ricotta Hotcake (Small $12, Large $20), the Dalgona Ice Coffee ($9), and the Pic Me Peanut Butter Cocktail ($18) on the menu.
The ricotta hotcake can only be described as a masterpiece. PB & J style toppings sit on top of a perfectly fluffy pancake, which is indulgent without being too sweet. It is loaded with gooey peanut butter chocolate ganache, jam filled raspberries, and dark chocolate crumbs that make every mouthful a delicious surprise.
As blue as the sky and much tastier than your average smoothie, the gluten and dairy-free Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl is a nourishing bowl of goodness. It features pineapple, blue spirulina, banana and coconut milk, while the topping is a delectable house made peanut butter granola; if only we could get our hands on a box of this!
Finding new ways to consume our favourite caffeinated drink is something we are totally here for. The genius team at Concrete Jungle has taken the whipped Dalgona coffee trend of 2020 up a notch and added a peanut butter layer. The result? A heavenly mix of two of our favourite things.
If you’re feeling extra festive, be sure to try the Pic Me peanut butter cocktail, whipped up in the Concrete Jungle bar. It’s a mix of banana, vodka, cacao liqueur, and of course, peanut butter. Think peanut butter meets Pina Colada!
With two dishes and two drinks to choose from, grab a fellow peanut butter loving friend, and experience the epic pop up menu for yourself.
Concrete Jungle‘s limited-edition peanut butter menu (in collaboration with Pic’s Peanut Butter) is available now until the 17th of December 2020. Find Concrete Jungle at 15 Kensington St, Chippendale.
