Monday
I went to the inaugural trivia night at Bulletin Place Bar on Monday night. They were just ranked number 26 in the World’s Best Bars so as expected they make a damn good cocktail. Lucky for me as I totally suck at trivia.
Tuesday
An impromptu cheeky dinner at Riley St Garage. Very cool fit out and nice and close to our office. I recommend checking it out.
Wednesday
I was honoured to MC the UNYAA Paddock to Plate dinner at Kitchen By Mike. Guest speakers included Senator Bob Carr, Adam Liaw, Sarah Wilson and Alexandra Iljadica. The focus of the evening was on sustainability in correlation with World Food Day 2013.
Thursday
Miss Freakie bought me a ticket to see Lorde at the Metro. We started our date night with dinner at the noodle markets. Dumplings and vermicelli salad hit the spot. Lorde was amazing, such a gifted performer for such a young age.
Friday
I jumped a plane early Friday morning and headed to Melbourne for Secret Foodies ‘Party Like It’s 1785’. We hosted the evening at Baroq House in the CBD. We had our very own Marie Antoinette perform for us, champagne towers (thankfully no spillages), grazing tables, dessert tables, photo booth and of course flowing champagne. It was a fun and decadent evening.
Saturday
Breakfast recovery at one of my favourite Melbourne Cafes, Dr Jekyll in St Kilda then to the nail salon for a fresh mani.
Sunday
Sunday was all about sunset beers with Mr Curl Curl. Wooooot wooooo. #howromantic
