Set in a restored 1800s terrace on Glebe Point Road, No. 92 GPR brings an eclectic wine list, bar snacks and brunch to Sydney diners.

Nestled between the CBD and the heart of the Inner West, Glebe is a neighbourhood brimming with plenty to talk about. From bakeries and specialty coffee shops to institutional book stores and plenty of spots to wine and dine, Glebe Point Road is a destination for foodies and culture-seekers alike. And in exciting news just announced, a new player has joined the ranks of one of Sydney’s most historic suburbs.

Introducing No. 92 GPR, a neighbourhood wine bar, café and kitchen with a rich history to share. The venue is proudly positioned on the corner spot of 92 Glebe Point Road, a terrace that has been home to everything from a merchant tailor to a grocer and even a private investigator in its past. The spot was first opened as the Waratah in 1874 by Henry Taylor, marketing the first pub on Glebe Point Road.

Today, you’ll find No. 92 GPR taking up residence in this historic site, designed by Pattern Studio and crafted to pay homage to the heritage of the building. Open Wednesday to Sundays, this unique venue brings delivers a carefully restored 1800s building to life with a lounge and multiple intimate dining rooms.

Swing by for a weekend brunch, with No. 92 serving up a curated selection of eats and coffee from Sydney-based specialty roasters, Artificer. From zucchini fritters with avo, coriander and lime ($16) to brioche french toast ($16) and even the ‘Full Australian’ (loaded with eggs, avo, bush tomato, pancetta, mushrooms sausage pattie, fried kale and more) for $30, you’re guaranteed to want to settle in for a delicious feast.

As the day rolls on, the wine glasses come out and the venue’s bar menu of small plates arrives. Expect everything from white bean hummus ($12) to olasagasti anchovies ($25) and even cuca sardines ($20 on the menu. Looking for a unique dinner destination? Experience the venue’s 6-course dinner menu ($70, or $120 with paired wines) featuring truffle mushroom arancini, ocean trout, pork belly and so much more.
