It’s finally here – the Messina Degustation Dessert Bar!
From the wonderful people of Messina’s Creative Department comes their newest gift bestowed upon us, a Degustation Dessert Bar.
Located right next to their iconic Darlinghurst store, the one room with one table seats a maximum of eight people. With two sittings, 7pm and 9pm, from Wednesday through Saturday each week, this is going to be one hell of a bar. Lucky attendees will get to feast on a specially-created seven course degustation, with matching non-alcoholic drink pairings for $130 a pop.
The experience is experimental, immersive, indulgent and intriguing, with Messina’s top guys taking charge of the project. This includes French pastry chef Remi Talbot, Messina Head Chef Donato Toce and Gelato extraordinaire Nick Palumbo, just to name a few. Messina describe the experience as being a meal that will flirt with savoury and unexpected flavours. Using fresh, local and seasonal produce and ingredients, they aim to take you way out of your comfort zone so be prepared!
Bookings are open from the 20th of April, so get in quick because it’s sure to book out fast.
