Just a stones through away from Circular Quay in The Rocks is Mode Kitchen & Bar, the new 1920’s-inspired restaurant. Spring Carnival lovers can immerse themselves in the finery of the stylish venue this Melbourne Cup.
Over four hours, enjoy a seasonal three-course lunch for $95 per person, crafted by Head Chef Francesco Mannelli. Consisting of starters to share, main course with sides and dessert, the menu highlights include Sydney Rock Oysters, baked ricotta and zucchini flowers, and a roasted toothfish with heirloom tomatoes and basil.

Enjoy the race on the big screen with a number of beverage options available at Mode Kitchen & Bar’s brass bar. Sip on Mumm Champagne by the flute for $15, or bottle for $99. Pimms Cup cocktails ($15 each) and pitchers to share ($60) will also be on offer.
Don your best dress or hat to be in the running to win a number of prizes, including accommodation at the five-star Four Seasons Hotel Sydney and a Mode Chef’s Table dining experience for 10 guests.
If you’re looking for something extra special you can book the restaurant’s Chef’s Table and Tasting Table, both overlooking the open kitchen and offering an interactive experience for groups of 10-14 guests.
