The Super Furry Festival is the Cutest Thing Ever

Cool Sh*t, Play, Sydney / 11 October 2017

A festival dedicated to furry animals is happening in Surry Hills this weekend.

No, we’re not joking. This Saturday 14th October, Shannon Reserve on Crown Street will transform into a furry-legged wonderland thanks to the Super Furry Festival. Kicking off at 9am, this animal lovers festival is giving one and all the chance to connect with 12 animal organisations, giving you access to everything from market stalls to kitty cuddle tents plus bunny cuddle tents (see you there!).

On the day, you can get involved in pooch treasure hunts at both 10am and 1pm. Tickets cost $10, giving you and your best friend (of the four-legged kind) the chance to hunt for hidden prizes and treats for both human and dog! As the grand winner of the Pooch Treasure hunt you and a friend and your pooch will be treated to a free 2 course meal for two people and one complimentary doggy meal at The Carrington.

If you have a question about your pooch’s health, PETstock are also offering free health checks with one of their vets and vet nurses on hand.
If you’re not a pet owner, don’t worry. Not only does this open up room for all the pats, there will also be a selection of market stalls available. Be warned, you may arrive empty handed, but leaving without a kitten, bunny or puppy may prove too much to bear.

Co-founded by Courtney Meyer and Jess Zeltner back in 2014, The Super Furry Festival’s mission is to raise awareness and much needed funds for animals in need.
