Expect an A-class experience at Little Red Robin, with a stellar team of hospo heavyweights running the show.
It’s not often you’ll hear about degustation dining outside of the inner-city, but this isn’t your typical neighbourhood spot. Little Red Robin is Lane Cove’s award-winning restaurant and wine bar, delivering an intimate and elevated dining experience to Sydney’s North Shore. Since launching in 2017, the venue has gone on to win over local diners and was recently awarded the 2019 Local Business Awards for Best New Business.
But in 2020, Little Red Robin has navigated it’s toughest challenge yet: a global pandemic. After 12 months of nearby construction at the venue’s connecting dining and retail precinct, The Canopy, the team was forced to close the venue’s doors in early 2020 due to COVID-19. After 10 weeks, Little Red Robin has now reopened with limited capacity and reduced hours but also an exciting new dining offers for diners to enjoy.
Co-owners Alessandro Nelli and Michelle Warren are thrilled to be serving local diners once again, with the same stellar team by their side. Committed to bringing a unique and interesting culinary experience to the North Shore, the duo has introduced two new degustation menus (a long and short degustation), consciously shifting away from their previous shared al la carte menu.
At the helm of the kitchen you’ll find Head Chef Alberto Ranalli (previously est. Sydney), who has created a menu of curated produce-driven dishes. His A-class team includes Sous Chef Douglas Alvarenga (from Gelato Messina’s Creative Department and Porteño) along with Andy Buchanan from Quay, Cutler & Co and Dinner by Heston.
Little Red Robin’s degustation menus offer dishes such as Allium Chawanmushi, WA Marron, ‘Nduja XO, Bone Marrow and Rangers Valley Black Onyx, Koji & Silverbeet, along with sweet treats such as 3yo Gouda, Sherry Caramel & Grapefruit tart and Jerusalem Artichoke, White Chocolate and Almond.

Little Red Robin is open for short or long degustation (short degustation on early sittings only) on Thursday, Friday & Saturday at 6pm, 6.15pm & 6.30pm plus 8.15pm & 8.30pm & 8.45pm and open on Sunday for degustation lunch from 12pm – 2pm and wine bar menu until 6pm.
