Johnnie Walker is redefining whisky with its latest, and boldest-to-date blend, Black Ruby. This contemporary whisky amplifies the fruity notes of their signature Black Label, with a sweet taste and smooth feel to it. 
To mark the launch, Pleasure Club is hosting ‘Ruby Dreams’ – a week-long affair featuring music, art, and extraordinary whisky cocktails. From the 14th to the 18th of August, you can expect live performances from the iconic Vera Blue. Furthermore, the event will feature the debut of Sarah Ellen, the Aussie fashion guru’s new band Pamela. There’ll also be burlesque entertainment by Porcelain Alice across three nights. Vera Blue has said “It’s truly like nothing else I’ve performed before. I can’t wait to take the audience on a multi-sensory experience.” Pleasure Club will also host a jukebox takeover throughout the week, blaring all the classics you love.
A special cocktail menu has been curated, each drink features Johnnie Walker Black Ruby with a fresh take. The cocktail list, curated by Diageo’s award-winning Jake Down, is guaranteed flavour. Sip on speciality cocktails like Ruby Fantasy (Johnnie Walker Black Ruby, strawberry and vanilla fizz), Ruby Dream (Black Ruby whisky, watermelon, and vermouth), Ruby Delight (Black Ruby whisky, raspberry, white chocolate and rose), and Ruby Lassi (Black Ruby whisky, rhubarb, cinnamon, ginger, and cream).
Ruby Dreams kicks off in Pleasure Club’s ‘Ruby Lounge’ on Wednesday, 14th August from 8pm and continues until Sunday, 18th, with doors opening at 4pm daily. Entry to Pleasure Club is first-come, first-served.
