Housed within a vibrant, neon-lit corner of Haymarket, Honey is serving up Sydney’s best Korean Fried Chicken, ice-cold beers and a bopping K-Pop soundtrack.
Bae Dining, the team that brought us Kogi, Marble and Surry Hills favourite, Tokki has officially expanded their multifaceted restaurant offering to Darling Square with the precinct’s first Korean street food-inspired diner.
A homage to the nightlife of Seoul, expect a loud and bustling atmosphere inspired by Korean Pocha – street-style share food centred around hearty comfort dishes – washed down with cold beer, soju and Korean-style cocktails and soundtracked to toe-tapping K-pop beats.
Korean Fried Chicken is Honey’s signature dish, boasting a flavour-filled menu of coatings including soy garlic; sweet chilli; creamy onion; flaming; and jalapeno. Other must-try dishes incorporating a signature Honey twist include the spicy grilled pork; Bulgogi Pizza; seafood Ttoek Bokki; and Tonkatsu.
To complement the food offering, Honey is pouring up a generous selection of tap beers, cocktails, soju, wine and their famous Honeycomb Magkoli – a milky, slightly sparkling Korean rice wine with a sweet Honey twist. For a sweet taste of Honey’s Signature cocktail list, don’t waste any time in trying the ‘Come On Honey’ made with white rum, Campari, lemon, honey and beer.
HONEY is now open from Tuesday – Wednesday 5 – till late & Thursday – Sunday 12 – Till late. Find out more here.
