A Two-Day Craft Beer Festival Is Landing In Darling Harbour This Weekend

Drink, Pubs, Sydney / 16 May 2022

Taste over 700 craft brews from the likes of Willie The Boatman, Bondi Brewing Co, Akasha Brewing, Little Creatures, Five Barrel Brewing & more at the annual Great Australasian Beer Spectacular (GABS).

Grabbing a great beer in Sydney isn’t a tough ask. In fact, we have a stellar selection of pubs and breweries dotted around every corner of our sparkling city. From the hidden converted warehouses of the Inner West to the waterfront pubs along the Northern Beaches, Sydney beer lovers are spoilt for choice.

And this weekend, there’s an almighty celebration of all things beer coming to the shores of Sydney Harbour. Australia’s longest-running craft beer festival returns bringing its biggest line-up with over 100 new and unique craft beers, ciders and seltzers for punters to sample.

From Friday 20th to Saturday 21st May, flock to Sydney International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour for all the frothy goodness. The festival is jam-packed across the weekend with gourmet food stalls, meet the brewer sessions, blind tastings and live entertainment.
GABS 2022 will be showcasing the best local brews from the likes of Seven Mile Brewing in Ballina, Stoic Brewing all the way down in Gerringong on the South Coast, Shark Island Brewing in Kirrawee, Frenchies in the heart of our Inner West and so many more. To satisfy grumbling stomachs, GABs have some of the city’s best street food trucks serving up the perfect treats to pair with your chosen brew.

Once again, the festival is going cashless with wristbands handed out to all who enter the festival. You can top up whenever you like throughout the festival via stations and roaming staff during the event. Tickets start at $23.50 (with the use of Dine & Discover voucher) and include free admission to the GABS Craft Academy brewer panel discussions and tastings, your souvenir GABS festival glass, an extensive GABS Official Guide featuring all festival brew tasting notes, stage entertainment, silent disco and games, exclusive access to over 100 festival brews made just for the event and the opportunity to sample hundreds of beers and ciders from Australia and New Zealand’s leading producers all in one place!
