Dusk Dining at Newmarket Randwick is jazzing up July with wine, truffles, live music and special dishes from RaRa Ramen, Gelato Messina, Sella Vinoteca and more!
This Thursday as dusk falls, Newmarket Randwick’s lifestyle precinct will transform into a wintery, al fresco dining wonderland beneath a sky of forest vines. The bespoke installation by Maddy Falvey will come to life at dusk, featuring a variety of textured foliage stretching across the space, suspended in clusters above the dining precinct.
The canopy-esque backdrop will be soundtracked to a Jazz-infused live music programme promising to strum all of your senses. Every Thursday between 5.30 – 8.30pm, live tunes from Vintage Pop Collective and The Uprights will fill the air setting the ambience for an evening of indulgence.
The July festivities will give attendees a chance to explore the foodie-lovers precinct and all it has to offer, including exciting Dusk Dining-exclusive offerings from iconic Sydney restaurants such as RaRa Ramen’s Chicken Katsu Curry with house-made Japanese curry and crispy panko-crumbed free-range chicken – the ultimate winter-warmer.
Gelato Messina will drop a new special every Thursday including a mouth-watering gelato smashed with generous chunks of homemade banana bread, and hatted favourite Baccomatto will be serving up a touch of finesse in the form of a homemade pappardelle with porcini mushroom, chestnuts and parmesan.
Swig a free tasting at Sella Vinoteca each Thursday throughout July, Newmarket Randwick’s much-loved wine experts will be pouring up a selection of artisan wines from different regions every week, kicking off with a range of unique and sustainable wines from Northern Italy on the 7th.
Along with wine tastings, Sella has curated a delicious Dusk Dining truffle dish of Duck Au Vin with Potato and Truffle Dauphinoise, available on the first three Thursdays of July. To see off the final weekend of festivities on Thursday 28th, Sella Vinoteca will host a special truffle banquet of secret dishes as part of an indulgent dining experience at Randwick’s favourite bistro.
