A Dessert Museum is Coming To Sydney

Cool Sh*t, Play, Sydney / 7 November 2018

Forget Willy Wonka’s chocolate factory, this Dessert Museum is taking your sugar-loving affair to a new dimension.

After taking Melburnians by storm in June and Brisbane locals only recently, Sydneysiders are now getting a taste of the sugary action with a pop-up museum totally dedicated to desserts. Aptly titled Sugar Republic, this dessert museum will land in Sydney from 10th February – 20th May 2019, setting up shop at MYER Sydney.
As for what to expect, Sugar Republic comes complete with an adult ball pit, fairy floss room, human size gum ball machine and plenty more. If you’ve ever dreamed of jumping out of a giant cake, now is your chance, while an interactive sprinkles wall will have you riding on a sugar-loaded high.
While there is predicted to be an array of interactive spaces boasting all things sugary and nice, you can also sample the likes of free ice cream, lollies and fairy floss on your visit.
While the Sydney rendition promises a unique experience, recent Sugar Republic pop ups in Melbourne and Brisbane set a very standard, with a doughnut igloo, fairy floss swing, neon art installations and an adult-sized ball pit.
Tickets are now on sale for Sydney’s Dessert Museum, and you’ll want to get in quick, as this promises to be a sell out event. For more information and to secure your tickets, click here.
