Saké and El Camino Cantina get set to make waves in a new waterside setting.

Manly locals have been patiently waiting, and now both Saké and El Camino Cantina get set to open their doors on the glistening new waterside rooftop. Officially opening on Friday 9th November, the neighbouring restaurants boast money-cant-buy views of Manly Cove and huge outdoor dining terraces.

Marking the sixth restaurant for Saké, the new Manly edition combines a mellow beach-side vibe and premium dining experience from the sleek 300-seat space. Floor-to-ceiling, bi-fold windows and doors open to a striking al fresco terrace that seats 50, giving diners inside and out uninterrupted views of Manly Cove. Inside, you’ll find a light-filled dining room complete with open plan kitchen. Take a seat by the robata grill and watch the chefs at work, perch at the 40-seat sushi bar or secure a space in the 60-seat bar and lounge.

As for the food menu, diners will be treated to made-to-order nigiri, sashimi, sushi rolls, izakaya-style shared plates and a number of dishes with a playful riff on Manly’s seaside location. Four gin bowls headline the drinks list, alongside a range of lovely cocktails and spritz.
el camino cantina
Head next door to El Camino Cantina, and diners can expect a massive line-up of Tex-Mex treats, including complimentary and unlimited tortilla chips and vibrant salsas, soft shell tacos topped with piquant ingredients, sizzling chargrilled fajitas, burritos fat with fillings, and hot buffalo wings.

El Camino’s famous margaritas are socially obligatory and come in various sizes, including 15oz, 24oz and a cheeky, 2-litre tower. There are several flavours to keep you going, including classic, mango and strawberry; and they’re served either frozen, or on the rocks. If cocktails aren’t your style, a mix of Mexican draught and bottled beers plus over 100 tequilas and mezcals also feature on the menu.
Saké will be open from midday and El Camino Cantina is opening from 6pm on Friday 9th November.
