Sydney’s best farmers markets have announced a brand new market program highlighting Winter produce over a day of activities.

The Carriageworks Farmers Market have been Sydneysiders favourite alfresco shopping experience since 2001. With fresh produce markets every Wednesday and Saturday 8am – 2pm, it’s the best place to score seasonal produce from growers and producers around NSW. This Winter, Carriageworks have partnered with SMEG and delicious. to present a bumper Seasonal Winter Market on Saturday 19 June 2021 from 8am – 1pm.

Market-goers will have the opportunity to shop for the freshest seasonal produce, watch free cooking demonstrations by leading chefs, gain fascinating insights into the world of our farmers, and enjoy an afternoon of cocktails at the PS40 pop-up bar.

Carriageworks Farmers Market Creative Director Mike McEnearney said, “We are excited to present this bumper market celebrating the arrival of winter with a fun filled day of food, free talks, afternoon cocktails and art at Carriageworks. Read our seasonal guide for some extra tips but a highlight of the day will be the live chef demonstrations that will equip visitors with new recipes and skills to really make the most of the season’s produce including truffles, the bounty of citrus that has just come into season, brussel sprouts, broccoli and more.”
