Love fried chicken? Love ramen? Why not have both thanks to the crew from Belles Hot Chicken!
We’ve been cooking and eating a lot during lockdown. From mastering sourdough to baking banana bread, there’s no better way to beat the iso blues than to whip up a tasty meal. But if you’re searching for something new to cook this winter, we’ve found just the delicious collab you’ve been searching for.
For those of us who have been hot chicken connaisseurs for a while, you’ll be well acquainted with Belles. Bringing a taste of Nashville to the heart of Australia, Belles Hot Chicken is headed up by chef and co-founder Morgan McGlone. The spot is renowned for dishes up epic plates of hot chicken, infused with an intense signature crunch coating, served as tenders, wings or drumsticks.
Earlier this year, you might have spotted a new edition to Belle’s menu. In collab with Korean instant noodle brand Shin Ramyun, Belle’s created an epic creation: fried chicken ramen. And it proved a big hit with Sydneysiders, making itself an instant hit on Belle’s limited edition menu.
And with winter well and truly here, Belles are bringing back this oh-so-popular dish (with a twist). From now until August 29th, Belles is teaming up with Shin Ramyun once again to create an easy-to-finish-at-home fried chicken ramen dish. That’s right, you simply pick up the meal box from one of Belles CBD stores (with locations in Darling Square, Tramsheds and Barangaroo), packed with all the ingredients you need to finish the tasty creation at home.
