Kickstart your weekend with delicious dumplings and fish bowl cocktails.
Smashed avo and matcha lattes are a thing of the past. If you’re looking for a new brunch option on the weekends, Hanoi Hannah have just kicked off their Yum Cha banquet for the second year running. Volume 2 at their Elsternwick location will bring back limitless cocktails and tasty plates priced between $6 to $12.
On the menu is a variety of Viet-style dishes perfect for sharing between friends. The rotating dishes includes yum cha classics infused with the fresh flavours of Vietnam. To spice things up, try the traditional Vietnamese Pho Coun featuring lemongrass beef wrapped in rice noodle sheets, served with Thai basil. Indulge in slices of dry-aged roast duck and chicken and lemongrass steamed buns for starters. You can also find salt ‘n’ pepper squid on the trolley, with kaffir lime salt and nuoc mam dipping sauce. Each Yum Cha brunch will feature mini rice paper rolls and summer themed salads.
It’s not a Hanoi Hannah Yum Cha brunch without some boozy additions. Guests can enjoy bottomless fishbowl cocktails filled with Adults Only Iced Tea (spiced rum, fresh orange, green tea, Vietnamese mint) and a caffeinated loaded Vietnamese coffee fishbowl (Bacardi Gold Rum, frozen Vietnamese coffee, condensed milk) all for $30 per person.
Yum Cha Saturdays are on weekly for the summer. Guests can flock to Hanoi Hannah at Elsternwick between 12:30 – 2:30pm. Bookings are not required but are welcome. You can find more information on the Hanoi Hannah website here.
