Melbourne / 7 December 2020

The new-look Ponyfish Island relaunches just in time for summer in Melbourne.

It’s been one of Melbourne’s most interesting inner-city bars. Located right in the middle of the Yarra, Ponyfish Island has been one of the only watering holes in this part of town. And now, this unique floating bar has revealed a fresh new look just in time for summer.

Get ready for the revamped Ponyfish Island, bringing a taste of Palm Springs to the heart of Melbourne. Now, the bar boasts terrazzo-topped tables, relaxed booth seating, plenty of stools, and vibrant accents of green and orange. The new fit-out, created by award-winning designed firm Studio Gram (responsible for Africola and Leigh Street Wine Room in Adelaide), and it’s clear the crew knows how to create a top-notch drinking and dining space.

While the food menu is due to launch in December 2020, the revamped bar at Ponyfish Island is already pouring a new range of delicious drinks. There’s an epic range of summer cocktails to sip your way through. From an Elderbloom Spritz to a Ponystar Martini and even Pimms Jugs and Rosé Sangria, you’ll find your perfect drink to sip this summer.

Plus, they’ve expanded their beer offering and are offering brews on-tap for the first time ever. Sip your way through beers from Pirate Life, 4 Pines, Balter, Asahi and so much more.
