As the weather warms and spring settles in, it’s time to celebrate in style. On 26-27 October, Ovata House is taking over the stunning Gatsby House in Darling Point. Escape to this exclusive event and immerse yourself in the chic pool-club atmosphere, where sparkling wine flows freely, live music sets the mood, and bites from Aplenty tantalise your palate.
Nestled in one of Sydney’s most prestigious postcodes, Gatsby House blends 1920s Hollywood glamour with Mediterranean-inspired elegance. With manicured lawns, an 18-metre pool, and stunning architecture, it’s the perfect backdrop for an afternoon.
At Ovata House, the drinks will be flowing. Guests will have exclusive access to Ovata by Oakridge, a sparkling wine crafted by winemaker Teresa Heuzenroeder, who boasts over 20 years of experience across Australia’s most renowned wine regions. This sparkling wine is made from the finest Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes, ensuring a perfect balance of freshness and complexity. Guests can also explore sparkling-based cocktails and a curated mennu from Aplenty.
“The name Ovata comes from the Latin word ‘ovatus,’ meaning to rejoice and applaud,” says winemaker Teresa Heuzenroeder. “That’s the exact sentiment of Ovata by Oakridge. A sparkling wine that invites the celebration of life’s occasions with confidence. Ovata House will run on Saturday 26th October from 3-6pm, and Sunday 27th October from 2-5pm at Gatsby House, Darling Point, NSW. Each ticket is priced at $95 per person plus a booking fee, which includes VIP shuttle transport to and from Edgecliff Station.
