Taste In The City 2022 Line Up Announced

Drink, Eat, Play / 1 August 2022

Sydney’s favourite celebration of great food, wine and entertainment will level-up the flavour at Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter this September.

Spanning Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th September, Taste in the City returns with a delicious line-up from the best restaurants, wineries, and craft breweries NSW has to offer. The foodie-favourite festival lands right on Father’s Day weekend, so if you’ve been mulling over the perfect gift for the Dads in your life, Taste In The City has you covered.

On Sunday 4th Taste In The City will host a Father’s Day Long Lunch featuring delicious dishes created by celebrity chefs, Jason Roberts, Tom Walton and Rowie Dillion. With only 100 tickets available for the one-off communal lunch, you might want to get in quick! Each $150 ticket includes; festival entry; a generous starter showcasing NSW’s finest fresh ocean and farmed produce (think oysters and grazing boards); main meals by Jason Roberts and Tom Walton; dessert by Rowie Dillion; and world-class cocktails from Maybe Sammy. If the way to the heart is through the stomach, we can’t think of a better way to up our ‘favourite child’ score this year.

Attendees will also be able to catch a line-up of cooking demonstrations and workshops from some of Sydney’s most renowned and respected chefs at Taste in the City’s celebrity kitchen. Star guests include Australia’s Queen of gluten-free cooking, Rowie Dillon and world-renowned bartender, business owner and co-founder of Maybe Sammy, Martin Hudak.

The fun doesn’t end with the food! Along with a vibrant marketplace overflowing with homewares, clothing, accessories, gifts, decadent bedding and more, you can get hands on crafting your own wine/gin/beer infused bath soaks and/or sugar scrubs with Loveshak. The mini workshop will provide attendees with the all-natural ingredients needed to make your own liquor infused bath soak or body scrub.

From cooking centre stage to carnival rides and attractions, all family members are welcome and catered for during the weekend, including our furry friends. Gastronomic delights will be enjoyed to a lively soundtrack of live music throughout the weekend adding a big fat cherry on the cake of Sydney’s foodie event of the year.
