Come Spring, the three-storey pavilion will also land an all-new dining space, setting itself up as the hottest place to sip a cold one this Summer.
Mona Vale Surf Life Saving Club is celebrating its 100th season with an all-new state-of-the-art clubhouse, and everyone is invited. Above the dune-level life-saving space are three pavilions overlooking the picturesque Mona Vale beach, and endless ocean views.
The member’s lounge, Cook Terrace, is already making waves with members fully utilising those brief glimpses of winter sun. Soundtracked to a weekly programme of live music, the sweeping views offer a perfect vantage point through the winter months to indulge in a little whale watching without getting wet.
Making a splash on the drinks list, members lounge manager and club life member Jon Dibbs has lined up a stellar session menu featuring beers by Stone and Wood, Pacific Ale and Jasper Red IPA plus a revolving tap which is currently pouring up Voodoo Ranger’s hazy IPA. Food will be served up straight from The Basin Dining room slated to open later this year.
Named after the area of beach it overlooks, The Basin Dining Room will serve up a full restaurant offering headed by the team at Lovat. The Newport eatery showcases home-style food with an emphasis on market-fresh seafood, the perfect accompaniment to 360 ocean views, we can’t wait to see what makes up the menu at the new digs!
The new space also features a 100pax function room to backdrop special occasions managed by Cloud9 event management. Plus come spring, a brand new café, Brightside, will open amidst the dunes offering the perfect spot for a caffeine fix after your morning swim.
