Since launching in October 2019, the team (founded by Marcel Dupont-Louis) have been taking punters on lavish boating experiences in Pittwater and Sydney Harbour. Today, Zephyr Charters operate solely in Pittwater, offering 4 hour charters in one of Sydney’s most spectacular coastal spots. The team take groups out for a day on the water in the M.V. Zephyr, a 60ft classic old timber fishing vessel kitted out with a modern refit.

In fact, Zephyr Charters have even welcomed Bono and Noel Gallagher from U2 onboard in November 2019 for an intimate daytime tour of Sydney. Marcel reveals Bono even managed to get the ingredients for a Bloody Mary cocktail (including top-shelf vodka, tomato juice and Tabasco) delivered to the boat after seeing this epic on-deck bar.

But this is anything but your average charter boat. The vessel feels akin to a floating beach house, fitted out with considered details to make the experience oh-so-special. Designed for groups of up to 30 guests, the M.V. Zephyr picks up and drops off from The Newport, the perfect spot for pre-drinks or a place to kick-on after a day on the water.

To elevate the on-board experience, Zephyr Charters have teamed up with Northern Beaches stylist, Corey, from Styled by Her to deliver bespoke styling tailored to each event. Expect the deck to be transformed into a luxe bohemian oasis with stylist packages (from $500) including bespoke furniture, curtains, table settings, tableware and more. Plus, you can even step things up by adding lavish floral arrangements and displays to set the mood for an epic day at sea.

While onboard at Zephyr Charters, the team can cater for your entire party with onboard dining and cocktails packages designed to take the stress out of catering for your next event. Guests can pre-order catering from The Boathouse Group or Rukus with everything from lavish grazing boards to gourmet fish and chips plus a selection of abundant salads, meats and sides. When it comes to drinks, the crew have teamed up with Trolley’d to deliver a series of booze packages including everything from craft beer to organic wines and even lavish cocktails made-to-order.

Want to do it yourself? No worries. The Zephyr Charters crew are happy to help you set up your own BYO food and booze if you’d rather organise the menu (at no extra charge). Plus, when it comes to extra these guys have you covered with floating lily pads included in your booking (with the option to add on a floating pontoon for an additional $500).
