Yo-Chi brings frozen delights to Barangaroo just in time for Sydney summer!
Yo-Chi, the cult-favourite frozen yoghurt and açaí shop, has just unveiled its flagship store in Barangaroo and it’s the largest venue to date! This highly anticipated opening marks a significant milestone for the rapidly expanding brand. Yo-Chi began in Melbourne in 2012 and has since grown to 40+ stores across Australia!
The new store, located in the iconic Barangaroo precinct, offers spectacular views of Watermans Cove and Darling Harbour. With seating for up to 165 people, both indoors and outdoors, it’s the perfect spot to take a break and enjoy a delicious frozen treat this summer.
“We’re incredibly excited to bring Yo-Chi to Barangaroo,” said Brooke Rodger, COO of Yo-Chi. “This flagship store is a testament to our brand’s growth and commitment to providing a unique and enjoyable experience for our customers.”
The flagship, designed by Claudia Marro, Yo-Chi’s Design Director, embodies the brand’s philosophy of creating positive energy. The space is both warm and inviting, with innovative materials, including cutesie disco ball-like lights and extensive glazing that highlights the stunning waterfront backdrop. The Barangaroo venue boasts twelve shiny new taps with all the usual cult-favourite flavours – matcha, cookies and cream, açai, the vegan-friendly coconut, and many more. The most exciting part – the new store has a double-sided toppings counter meaning you don’t have to wait as long to get your Yo-Chi fix!
Choose from healthy delights including a range of berries, seeds and granola or opt for a treat with their sweeter options, including cookie dough, crumble, and Oreo. Round it off with one of their signature sauces including the recently added Pistachio Papi sauce.
2024 has been a period of significant growth for Yo-Chi, with the opening of 18 new stores across Australia. The brand’s success can be attributed to its unique blend of high-quality ingredients, customisable options, outside-the-box thinking and vibrant store designs.
