Thanks to the Team at Gozney’s, two iconic Sydney pizza joints will be serving up free pizza by the slice this Wednesday 9th February.
Gozney is on a mission to make quality pizza accessible to everyone. Known for its professional-grade portable pizza ovens including the Roccbox, Gozney is loved and used by many top tier chefs including Luke Powell (LP’s Quality Meats & Bella Brutta).
Powell will be serving up 100 of Bella Bruta’s most popular pizzas from 11.30am including: ‘LP’s Pepperoni’ with pomodoro, fior di latte and fennel seed, and ‘Cavolo Nero’ with fior di latte with confit garlic and ‘Clam’ with pecorino, fermented chilli, garlic and parsley.
Meanwhile, Dimitri’s in Darlinghurst will be slinging up to 100 of its signature pizzas by co-owners Drew Huston and Ken Williams plus special guest chef, computer scientist turned Inner-west pizza hero, Emlyn Bilbie AKA @Pizza_Lorrd. While most of us were three failed banana bread attempts into lockdown, Emlyn was busy setting up his own sell-out backyard pop-up pizza joint, powered by Gozney pizza ovens. Emlyn has been taken under the wing of Drew Huston as his pizza mentor. Pizza Lorrd will be creating his own special pizza ‘Green Eggs, No Ham’ topped with wood roasted eggplant, salsa verde, ricotta and house mozzarella at Dimitri’s in honour of the festivities.
Plus, on the day one lucky World Pizza Day punter can win a ‘lucky slice’’ in their free pizza, and will score a professional-grade portable pizza oven, the Gozney Roccbox, valued at RRP $799.
