The Opera House is giving away a once in a lifetime opportunity to celebrate the return of tours and performances in Sydney.
When we think of our fondest Sydney memory, it’s hard to pass up experiences within the Opera House. From dining in Bennelong restaurant, sipping the afternoon away at Opera Bar and watching live orchestra or music performances, this iconic Sydney landmark provides endless entertainment for us Sydneysiders. And to celebrate the return of tours and performances within the Opera House, the venue is giving away a once in a lifetime experience for you and nine of your closest friends.
The winners will be treated to a one-hour private evening tour through backstage areas that are usually reserved for the stars. This will be accompanied by a three-course dinner with matched beverages on the spectacular Joan Sutherland Theatre stage, courtesy of the Trippas White Group. From the auditorium, electro-soul trio Bow and Arrow will perform for you exclusively bringing you powerful vocals, tribal rhythms and electro beats.
To be in the running, all you have to do is share in 25 words or less why you need a night to remember before Sunday, 14 November at 11:59pm. The winners must be available for the experience on Friday 19 November 2021. If you don’t win the major prize, four runners-up will each receive a double pass to the Opera House’s Tour and Dine Experience valued at $160 each. This includes a guided tour where you will discover the captivating story and origins of Sydney’s architectural icon, followed by lunch at Opera Kitchen.
A range of tour experiences exploring the history, architecture and artistic wonders of the Opera House have now resumed, running between Thursday and Monday each week. Find out more here
