“The Hits” At Menzies Bar – From 1st July

Menzies’ popular “The Hits” pasta series is back for 8 glorious weeks, starting July 1st! Chef Joel Bickford has crafted a rotating menu of classic pastas, for just $25 a plate – with the option to add a glass of wine for $10. $35 is a steal for a delicious meal and vino in the city if you ask us! Available for lunch & dinner, Monday-Saturday. Expect classics like Pappardelle Bolognese & Spaghetti Vongole. Full menu & bookings here.

Smoky Sue’s Fiery BBQ: Sizzle up your Sundays with live music, Smoky Sue’s fiery BBQ, and Forty Spotted Gin fire-roasted fruit cocktails. Every Sunday, Starting 14th July from 3pm.

East Meets West At Café Baba’s! – Sunday 14th July

On Sunday 14th July, Café Freda’s in Darlinghurst is transforming into Café Baba’s, to celebrate the vibrant fusion of Eastern European and Middle Eastern flavours. DNA Distillery and Baba’s Place team up to offer the world’s first Rakija and Tonic cans all day, perfect for those seeking a unique tipple. DJs will spin tunes to keep the vibe lively, while Marrickville’s iconic Baba’s Place serves up their signature Macedonian Pastrmajlija. Choose from chicken or a vegetarian option, featuring yoghurt, paprika, and a delightful blend of fresh herbs. Mejico is hosting their first-ever Vegan Night on 30th July. This special event promises a vibrant celebration of plant-based Mexican flavors, with innovative twists on classic dishes. Think “fish” tacos and refreshing watermelon ceviche, alongside creative options like king brown mushroom “scallops” and roasted savoy cabbage. It’s the perfect chance to explore the exciting world of vegan Mexican cuisine, all in Mejico’s lively atmosphere.
