An Unlimited Dumpling Feast is Coming to Barangaroo

Cool Sh*t, Eat, Sydney / 2 August 2017

Prepare to unbuckle your belts, an unlimited dumpling feast is hitting Barangaroo.

The word ‘unlimited’ will naturally cause any normal human’s ears to prick. When we heard however that an all-you-can-eat dumpling feast was hitting Barangaroo in August, we couldn’t help but get a little (excessively) excited.
Kicking off on Saturday 12th August, Barangaroo’s Cantonese eatery, Old Town Hong Kong, will transform into a dumpling hungry hive of activity, as diners are challenged to eat as many dumplings as they can in 90 minutes. Guests will be able to test their belly sizes with a menu of dim sum and selected mains.
This isn’t just a once off event either, with the dumpling feast set to continue on Saturday 19th August and Saturday 26th August, with multiple session times also available. Although premised on the notion of a little gluttony, this dumpling feast also comes with an altruistic message. As a part of its broader Eats on The Streets campaign, this event will work in partnership with OzHarvest. Old Town Hong Kong, along with several other restaurants along the Wulugul Walk, will be donating 10% of all proceeds to the food rescue charity.
Dumplings not your thing? Fret not, The Streets of Barangaroo is hosting a series of exclusive dining experiences, including a Winter Produce Dinner at 12-MicronCatalonian Degustation at Born by TapavinoMeet the Producer Dinner at love.fish plus more! You can read all about it on Barangaroo’s website here.
