Pier One Opens New Sydney Harbour Pop-up Pool and Bar

This summer, you’re invited to dip and sip under the Sydney Harbour Bridge at Pier One’s pop-up pool and bar.

Ever dreamed of taking a thrilling dip in the open seas? Well your chance is now thanks to Pier One, who have launched the first ever plunge pool in Sydney Harbour, in celebration of those balmy summer months. Aptly titled ‘The Pool’, hotel guests and partygoers alike are invited to cool off at the hotel’s private pontoon pool.
Launching on Friday 8th December, The Pool comes complete with lush greenery, deck chairs, umbrellas and plenty of pool toys including paddle boards and water bikes to explore the harbour.
To appease your post-swim grumbling stomaches, The Kerrigan will be there to provide quintessential Aussie BBQ fare from their food shack and on-site smokery. Get ready to salivate, as they’ll be serving up delights such as burgers, spiced calamari rings and fried chicken wings.

Accompanying this is also a range of retro-inspired poolside cocktails, shaken and stirred by the Pier One Sydney bar team. For those who love a good boogie, Sydney’s best-known local DJs will also be performing daily at The Pool, bringing the summer vibes.

The Pool by Pier One will be open on Fridays from 3pm till sunset and Saturdays and Sundays from 12noon till sunset throughout December – February, giving you plenty of time this summer to head down and check it out.

During the peak 26th December – 1st January period, The Pool will be extending its hours, opening daily from 3pm – sunset to keep the party vibes going. This will culminate with Pier One’s New Year’s Eve party featuring uninterrupted views of the fireworks, flowing food, drinks and entertainment.

Access to The Pool is $30 and includes an alcoholic beverage and towel as well as the use of luxury pool toys. The Pool does have limited capacity, operating on a first-in-best-dressed basis.
