Celebrate World Cocktail Day with a Mega-rita at Stanley’s.
As if we needed another excuse to drink cocktails, World Cocktail Day is on the 13th of May and Master of Mixes has teamed up with Stanley’s Bar in Darlinghurst to launch Sydney’s biggest cocktail. If your someone who sips cocktails a little (or a lot) too fast and orders the next round before anyone at the table has hit the halfway mark, we challenge you to the Mega-rita – an enormous three-litre margarita served in a fishbowl that must be hoisted with two hands. With the grit of a salt rim at your lips and the symphony of sweetness and tang from Master of Mixes margarita mix, there’s no better drink to celebrate World Cocktail Day.
This limited-edition Mega-rita is available for two weeks only from this Wednesday, 12th of May. It’s not cheap at $300 a pop, but when shared amongst six or more friends, you’re looking at a minimum of $50 each (it must be shared for financial and RSA reasons). Stanley’s staff will be serving this bad boy up with a ladle and distributing it around the table for dramatics. Sydneysiders, gather the gang and do what you do best this World Cocktail Day.
