The Monday after we hit the vaccination threshold, restaurants will be able to reopen for dine-in service. So, which restaurants are taking bookings?
The foodie news we’ve all been waiting for has arrived! The NSW government announced that restaurants, cafes and bars across Sydney will be able to reopen in October pending that 70% of the state is fully vaccinated. There’s no firm date yet, but Gladys has started that businesses will be allowed to reopen the Monday after we hit the vaccination threshold. The one person per four square metre rule will be back into play inside venues and one person per two square metres in outdoor spaces.
Venues across Sydney have spent months with their doors closed or serving stripped-back versions of their menu as takeaway. Some of our most beloved restaurants and cafes have even had to close for good. The hospitality industry has never needed our support more and if you’re comfortable doing so, it’s time to show them your support.
