The brand new late-night tour series is called The House After Dark, hosted at the iconic Sydney Opera House. Running from January 22nd to March 27th, 2021, this spooky tour will take you on a never-before-seen tour of Sydney’s most favourite performing arts centre.
In fact, this is the first time a tour is taking place inside the House when all performers, patrons, and staff have gone home. Who knows, you might even spot a ghost or two while you’re there?
Here’s what you can expect from The House After Dark tours at the Sydney Opera House this summer. Each tour runs for roughly 90-minutes and will kick off with drinks and dessert in the Opera House’s shiny new tour venue. It’s an epic new space, fitted out with state-of-the-art technology, 270-degree visuals, and surround sound.
After a delicious feed, you’ll be guided through some of the most undiscovered parts of the Sydney Opera House. Expect to explore hidden tunnels and passageways where spirits are said to linger. Along the way, your guide will reveal chilling ghost stories, spooky secrets, and mysterious occurrences that are said to have happened right here at the Sydney Opera House.
