Get ready for the inaugural Sydney Cocktail Festival, coming to Opera Bar for three-days-only.
Spring is the perfect time of year to head outdoors for a well-deserved drink. If you’re on the hunt for a unique boozy experience in Sydney, we’ve found just the event for you. Popping up on the harbour foreshore for one weekend only, get ready for the inaugural Sydney Cocktail Festival (hosted by Opera Bar in collaboration with Bacardi Martini Australia).
Running from Friday, November 13th to Sunday, November 15th, 2020, this three-day cocktail festival is landing at Opera Bar for a weekend of top-notch cocktails. The event is bringing together bartenders from 10 of Sydney’s leading cocktail bars, including PS40, Double Deuce Lounge, and Mjølner. Each bartender will be serving up two bespoke cocktails crafted with spirits from the Bacardi range (including a signature drink as well as an exclusive creation available just for the Sydney Cocktail Festival).
So, what can you expect to be sipping at the inaugural Sydney Cocktail Festival? Get ready for a ‘Mango Weis Bar daiquiri’ by the Jacoby’s Tiki Bar team or a ‘Melody’ by Old Mate’s Place. Get your dose of greens with Rosenbaum & Fuller’s ‘Leafy Greens’ cocktail (42 Below vodka, olive leaf, vermouth, green apple, and fennel honey) or savour the ‘Rock ‘n’ Pop’ from Burrow Bar (featuring Patrón Silver tequila, chamomile, Martini Bianco, manzanilla sherry, rockmelon, soda).
Along with delicious cocktails, Opera Bar will be hosting a series of live DJ sessions with The Dark Horse and Amy Chase hitting the decks.
Sydney Cocktail Festival will be running from November 13th to 15th, with five sessions held across the weekend. Tickets ($49 per person) include three cocktails, or six half serves for those who just can’t choose. Table bookings are now available via the Opera Bar website and must be booked as a minimum of two (with configurations of four, six, and eight also available). Plus, there are tickets available for a limited number of walk-ins as well.
