Modern Asian flavours meet Northern Beaches vibes at the newest venture from Merci Group: Suki Restaurant.
Suki Restaurant, the latest addition to Sydney’s laid-back Northern Beaches dining scene, offers a refined modern Asian experience that strikes the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. Located in Mona Vale, the rustic, beachy restaurant feels like a relaxing getaway.
The menu at Suki is a celebration of authentic Asian flavours. Start with the Raw & Cold section with fresh oysters served with coconut, bird eye chilli and makrut oil or kingfish ceviche with chilli, lime, apple, and green mango. Smaller dishes include prawn toast, red curry scallops, pulled pork san choy bow and betel leaves with crab and pineapple.
The curries are a hit, including the short rib redang. Signature dishes feature a fantastic blend of textures and flavours, including crispy pork belly, twice-cooked crispy chicken, and Pad See Ew, all designed to be shared. Whether you’re diving into the dumplings selection or indulging in their creative fusion plates, Suki delivers a dining experience that feels both refined and approachable.
For dessert, there’s a mango creme brulee, Thai milk pannacotta and matcha ice cream strawberry doughnuts. One of each please!
The drinks list has a fun and refreshing selection of cocktails, including the Suki Margo, Mandarin Southside and Midori Melon High Ball. There’s also an intriguing Sushi Rice Negroni made with strawberry-infused Campari, soju, and sweet vermouth. Suki also offers a solid list of mocktails and non-alcoholic drinks. The wine list is short, with drops from everywhere from the Hunter Valley to Provence.
Suki also excels in its weekend offerings. Saturdays are for bottomless brunches with cocktails flowing freely, while Sundays offer a family-friendly Yum Cha experience for only $59 per person, perfect for large groups or casual get-togethers.
Located at 18 Barrenjoey Road, Mona Vale, Suki is open Wednesday to Sunday, with Saturday lunch service from 12:00pm. For a dining experience that’s elegant and fun, and delivers on taste, Suki is quickly becoming a Northern Beaches favourite.
