Cool Sh*t, Festivals, Play, Travel / 8 August 2023

Art vs Science, Broods, Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk and more will hit the stage between hitting the slopes and endless après ski events.

Serving up some of the best ski in the Southern Hemisphere, this 4-day alpine music festival in Queenstown is THE festival for lovers of winter sports.

Returning to NZ in September 2023 for its second year, Snow Machine is shaping up to be the hottest festival of winter with a stacked lineup which includes; access to two world-class resorts, Coronet Peak and The Remarkables; an incredible live music lineup of local and international artists; one of the world’s most idyllic backdrops; plus lift passes, rentals, lessons, activities and more available to book through the Snow Machine Store in the coming weeks.

Known as New Zealand’s adventure capital, Queenstown has plenty to offer beyond the Snow Machine village. From heart-stopping bungy jumping, skydiving, heli-skiing, jet boating, and canyon swinging all the way through to relaxing scenic and winery tours, Queenstown really does have everything you need for a getaway to remember.

Snow Machine 2023

In order to make sure you don’t miss a beat, Snow Machine has crafted a smattering of packages spanning value, mid-range and deluxe bundles, designed to cater for your entire getaway. Attendees can book a 5 or 7-night stay at one of Snow Machine’s preferred accommodations which includes a four-day festival ticket and a five-day ski pass.

For those that prefer to build their own vacay, snap up a ‘ticket only’ and get planning because this festival is guaranteed to sell out fast.

Gracing the live music lineup is an eclectic mix of local and international talent led by headliners Hilltop Hoods, BENEE, and Broods. Triple j Unearthed High winner Jacotène will also be there, as well as festival veteran Pete Murray, New Zealand stalwarts Shapeshifter, and more.
