Head to the city’s most historic foreshore suburb to enjoy treats and tipples this Christmas.
It’s one of the most celebrated times of the year. With the work year wrapping up, we’re all counting down the days until the big day. And with just over two weeks until Christmas Day, it’s fair to say the silly season is in full swing across the city. So, what better way to celebrate the end of another year than with a festive pop-up bar in the heart of the city?
This year, The Rock’s is expanding its Christmas celebrations with a pop-up Christmas Bar coming to the streets of the historic suburb in the weeks leading up to the big day. From December 5th to December 22nd, punters can swing by this pop-up bar from Thursday to Sunday for a post-work tipple or weekend drink with their crew. Located in the heart of The Rocks on Atherden Street, this Christmas Pop-Up Bar gives Sydneysiders plenty of reason to toast to the silly season with a delicious line-up of drinks and eats to enjoy all month long.
Taking inspiration from the traditional European Christmas, this bar delivers a playful take on French chalets, with a French-inspired offering of drinks and snacks. Punters can sip on Soupe de Champagne, a premium French champagne cocktail with Cointreau, lime, sugar, and champagne as well as a selection of handpicked premium French wines and champagnes. Plus, the bar will also be serving up freshly shucked rock oysters to enjoy all evening long.
The Rock’s Christmas Pop Up Bar finds its home alongside The Rock’s Christmas Markets, which will be serving up tasty eats as well as arts, crafts, homewares and gifts for those who still need to tackle their last-minute Christmas shopping.
