Get ready for the inaugural Ritapalooza Festival, coming to El Camino Cantina The Rocks this August.

With spring just a few weeks away, we’re all getting ready for the end of the cold winter months. That means swapping mulled wine for margaritas and hearty roast dinners for light and fresh summer dishes. And to help you celebrate the change of seasons, the crew from The Rock’s El Camino Cantina are putting on an epic three-week festival dedicated to margaritas.

Kicking off on Tuesday, August 25th and running until Saturday, September 12, the inaugural Ritapalooza festival serves as a celebration of El Camino Cantina’s iconic and adventurous margarita flavours. Across three weeks, this Tex-Mex cantina will transform into a margarita mecca with 15 delicious limited-edition flavours to sip your way through.

So, what out-of-the-box flavours will you be sipping at El Camino Cantina’s Ritapalooza? Get ready for fun new mixes such as Mojitorita, Hubbabubba and Coco Loco. Plus, you’ll also be able to sip your way through the venue’s classic combinations, including classic, mango, strawberry and tropical margaritas. Want to elevate your drink? All flavours can be luxed-up to a premium, Cadillac margarita, with a rich, smooth float of Grand Marnier.

But that’s just where to fun starts at El Camino this month. Gather your crew and book in for the Palooza Party Package ($79 per person), giving you a curated selection of the venue’s cult classic dishes. Diners will enjoy two hours of delicious eats over three courses with flowing margaritas and each of the 15 new flavours available.

For a special celebration, book in for the Deluxe Palooza Party Package ($99 per person), with a two hour dining package paired with premium margaritas served Cadillac-style. Each party package menu includes El Camino’s sensational, spicy buffalo wings served with blue-cheese mayo; sizzling adobo chicken fajitas with all the Tex-Mex trimmings, including soft, house-made tortillas, sautéed vegetables, fresh salsa, sour cream and cheese; and crisp churros served deliciously warm with chocolate and caramel sauce for dipping.

Looking for a fun way to spend your evening? Swing by El Camino from 6 pm daily to take part in a blind margarita tasting ($10 for 6x30mL margaritas, with the chance to win a double voucher for a Tex-Mex Fiesta Package). Want to go all out? Round up your margarita tribe to help with the Metre Rita ($25) – a one-meter tasting paddle of 13, 50ml frozen flavours, as well as a four-flavour paddle ($25 or $30 Cadillac-style).

Plus there are stacks more to eat and drink at Ritapalooa, including limited edition $7 tacos, $4 taco Tuesdays, 10c buffalo wings at Wing Wednesday and so much more.
