If you need an excuse to celebrate International Chardonnay Day, the fabulous Reign ‘Chardy party’ will provide a night of luxury eating, drinking and entertainment. Over 15 wine producers will be providing attendees with the opportunity to taste their expertly crafted wines, whilst giving insights into their unique offering. On top of this, attendees can indulge in the Chablis and oyster station, nibble the grazing tables, take part in a masterclass and enjoy the live music. The event will be held at Reign in the QVB Friday, 24 May from 6 pm to 8 pm.

Guided by Trippas White Group sommeliers Louella Mathews and Luigi Celiento, attendees will be guided on a tasting journey, exploring a selection of Chardonnay styles from both traditional and contemporary wine regions. 15 esteemed wine producers such as Handpicked Wines and House of Arras will be showcased, with experts from these vineyards available to discuss their offerings in detail. While Sydney Rock Oyster specialists, East 33, will provide freshly shucked oysters at the oyster and Chablis station.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, a VIP ticket, priced at $109 includes a 45-minute masterclass with House Of Arras, a tasting of Handpicked’s acclaimed 2022 Wombat Creek Yarra Valley Chardonnay, and a Plumm sensory session highlighting top Chardonnays from Australia and select international gems.
