Kick back with delicious cocktails and live music at Sydney’s most iconic waterfront bar, Opera Bar.

Summer might be racing to a close, but there’s still plenty of reason to get outdoors and soak up the sunshine. And this month, we’ve found the perfect event to get your dose of free live entertainment and prime views of Sydney Harbour at the same time.

Get ready for Picnic Social’s FREE live music sessions at Opera Bar. From now until May, Opera Bar will welcome some of Sydney’s best emerging and established musicians and DJs to perform for Sydneysiders. This epic new arts and entertainment program (supported by the City of Sydney) has been curated by Picnic touring and events.

Running every Sunday from 3 pm to 10 pm, kick back with live DJs and music sets set against the backdrop of Sydney Harbour. Expect a huge range of genres to be taking the stage, from disco to spell-binding ambient compositions and even live soul sets. The combo of top-notch live music and one of Sydney’s most iconic waterfront bars make this an unmissable weekend event.

Hitting the stage will be the likes of Setwun & Soulstranauts, Marco Vella, Stereogamous ft Jamaica, and Lazywax and DJ sets from Simon Caldwell, Kali, Lauren Hansom, Caravan, Ayebatonye, and many more.

And to complete your Sunday session, Opera Bar will be pouring refreshing and bold twists on tequila classics as part of their Summer of Tequila festival, running daily until February 28th. Swing by to try one of six house-made Patrón Tequila cocktails. There’s a Watermelon Paloma, Quandong Margarita, Cucumber and Agave Gimlet, Agave Colada and so much more to sip.
