To help you celebrate the long-awaited three-day weekend, Opera Bar will be pouring a range of specialty Aussie drinks and cocktails. Sip on an Australian Spritz (featuring Adelaide Hills bitter orange aperitif, South Australian sparkling and fresh orange), Brookevale Union Frozen Cocktails (featuring Ginger Beer and Peach Ice Tea) plus the Breakfast of Champions Cocktail (make with Archie Rose’s Mite Buttered Toast Spirit, lemon myrtle, tomato water, soda and topped with a mini cheese toastie. For beer lovers, head to the 4 Pine ‘Surf Shack’ pop-up for score a craft brew with a side of beach vibes.
As for eats, Opera Bar will be slinging a limited-edition menu of Aussie-inspired dishes. Get your hands on an Aussie Beef Burger and chips ($22) or even a Classic Fisherman’s Basket with prawns, calamari, beer-battered fish bites and chips ($30). Make sure to leave room for dessert and try a Salted Caramel Vegemite Slice, served with a mini koala with 100% of proceeds going directly to WIRES (helping endangered animals in the wake of the ongoing bushfire crisis).
