After A Two Year Hiatus, Sydney’s Favourite Night Markets Are Back

Eat, Sydney / 18 August 2022

From steaming hot dumplings, to melt in your mouth Bao and Instaworthy desserts, the Sydney Night Noodle Markets will return this October to a brand new location.

From Tuesday 4th – Sunday 9th October 2022, Sydney Night Noodle Markets will move into their new home: Prince Alfred Park, conveniently located next to Central Station.

Each evening, the popular park will be transformed into a vibrant, open-air Asian street food festival, with live entertainment and hawker-style stalls serving up their most drool-worthy dishes, drinks and bites.

Assemble the squad and head straight from work to feast on an array of sizzling, sweet and spicy meals and morsels accompanied by your bev of choice. Take a second to soak up the lively ambiance and enjoy a precious moment to catch up and reconnect with loved ones.

The iconic foodie event has announced that stand-out eateries Bangkok Street Food, Shallot Thai, Roll Up, Raijn, Calabang and Donut Pai will be joining all time crowd pleasers Hoy Pinoy, Wonderbao, Flying Noodles, Gelato Messina and Twissto, amongst others. Plus, celebrity Chef Brendan Pang will be bringing his sought-after dumplings from Bumplings.

Plus, we haven’t even told you the best part, in 2022 the Night Noodle Markets have said ‘Sayonara’ to queues. In partnership with Mr Yum, simply scan a QR code to view, order and pay on your phone, with an SMS sent when orders are ready for pick up.

Along with live entertainment, lion dancers and a pets-welcome policy, this year’s Markets will also feature pop-ups from popular partner brands. These include Citi Central, this year open to all attendees and offering a laid-back lounge to enjoy drinks delivered directly to the table.

As always, the event will remain free, however guests will need to register for a free ticket online at www.nightnoodlemarkets.com.au/sydney
