This immersive murder mystery party is returning to the heart of the city.
It’s time to channel your inner Inspector Gadget and whip out that magnifying glass, as The Australian Museum gets ready to host the second instalment of Murder At The Museum, The Case of the Missing Piece.
After hosting a sell-out show earlier this year, The Australian Museum invites you to turn detective for the night on Friday 15th September to help solve a murder mystery in a fully immersive and interactive game, designed specifically for us adults.
Your night will kick off with welcome drinks as you get exclusive after-hours access to the Museum, in celebration of its 190th birthday. It’s from there that the real fun begins, as a prized object from the Museum’s world famous collection is found missing. You’ll team up to help uncover the truth of why and where its gone, embarking on an investigation that winds its way through the Museum’s public and private spaces in search of special clues.
With all that running around working up a suitable appetite, you’ll then have the option of enjoying a meal at one of Sydney’s most prized rooftop eatery’s, No. 1 William.
Served from 8.30pm, there will be the option of two courses for $35 or three courses for $45 per person.
Dishes will include charred prawns, smoked eggplant and wilted warrigal greens followed by Cone Bay Barramundi, fennel, citrus cous cous salad with a lemon aspen beurre blanc. Dessert will be a very enticing vanilla and wattle seed panna cotta with raspberry compote and baby basil.
Tickets to Murder At The Museum are $59 for museum members and $69 for non-members. This includes a welcome drink on arrival. Additional drinks can be purchased at the bar separately on the night!
